The History of Tartuflanghe
Domenica Bertolusso and Beppe Montanaro, founders of the company, started their activity in the truffle world in 1968, selling fresh truffles from Piedmont.
Tartuflanghe was born in 1980 to exploit the inspiration and culinary experience of Beppe, obtained through a highly prestigious training course: Chef Saucier on cruise ships in the years 1958-1966, hotel school instructor, cook in the most established restaurants typical Piedmontese cuisine and then owner. from the renowned restaurant. The name “Tartuflanghe” is the result of an intuition on Sunday that, in the restaurant's kitchen, combined the word truffle with the name of the Langhe, a territory famous for the quality of this precious mushroom.
The company has been awarded the title of "Artisan Excellence" for years, awarded by the Piedmont Region in recognition of its thirty years of experience in the world of quality gastronomic crafts.
